When a fatal road accident occurs, the relatives of the victims sometimes place a memorial cross on the side of the road. These crosses are tributes to the deceased but they also serve as a reminder and warning to road users. La route des croix is the story of these roadside crosses on four major road killings in Quebec. Each cross has its own story and is linked to a family and friends who tell it to us.
