Congratulations to our CEO Bruno Dubé who has been appointed Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television – Quebec Chapter!
The Academy also announced yesterday the appointment of Caroline Gaudette, President and Producer of Version 10, as Chair of the Board. Caroline Gaudette will succeed Sophie Deschênes, president and producer of Productions Sovimage.
The Academy mentions in the press release that Bruno is a visionary producer and entrepreneur who brings a transversal experience and knowledge of the Quebec, Canadian and international markets. Under his leadership, Sphere has become the third largest independent production company in Canada and shines in both the French and English markets around the world. Its portfolio includes dozens of memorable and award-winning series, including Aller simple, Transplant, Sort Of, Cerebrum, Les Honorables, The Porter and Une autre histoire, as well as programs such as Génial and Les petits tannants. Bruno and his team have won 15 Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Drama Series and Best Comedy, as well as dozens of Gemini Awards.
