The documentary series Bêtes de foire lifts the veil on the history of the artisans who have shaped the circus tradition in our country, people who, more than ever, have an impact on the imagination of Quebecers. Quebec’s oral heritage is full of stories of strongmen, acrobats, dwarfs and giants, whose exploits go far beyond the borders of their regions to become legends. Divided into three episodes, the series is a tribute to the artists and artisans who have shaped our oral tradition and circus industry.
