Cardinal follows detectives John Cardinal (Billy Campbell, The Killing) and Lise Delorme (Karine Vanasse, Revenge) as they investigate major crimes and unearth the darker side of their picturesque community. But, unknown to Cardinal, Delorme is simultaneously digging up dark secrets of Cardinal’s past, which threatens to derail their investigation. Set in the town of Algonquin Bay, each season of the serialised drama series takes place in a different season of the year, highlighting the beautiful landscape and the people and crimes that happen within it. Featuring gripping drama and high emotional stakes, Cardinal uses shifting points of view to deliver a gripping and suspenseful crime thriller.
