In early 1918, the Allies had their backs against the wall. A major German offensive was heading west in an attempt to win and end the First World War. Faced with defeat, French Marshal Ferdinand Foch and British Marshal Douglas Haig joined forces with Canadian General Arthur Currie and Australian General John Monash to develop a new strategy. Working together, the Allies were able to turn the tide with revolutionary tactics, unwavering bravery and determination. Their new military strategies succeeded not only in decisively defeating Germany, but also in changing war as we know it.
