Laura, a 15-year-old teenager, is living a dream: she has landed a job as an intern at the Miller Zoo, a zoo like no other where animals from all over come to find refuge. Supervised by the zoo’s specialists, Laura takes care of the residents by carrying out a series of enriching, incredible and sometimes…crazy missions! In a humorous tone, each episode features Laura’s intrepid mission to lend a hand to an animal. A member of the zoo’s team first informs her about the history of the animal she has to take care of. The animal’s background, the circumstances that brought it to the zoo, its personality, its specific needs, the characteristics of the breed, etc. are explained. Laura is then given her mission, in which she takes concrete action to help the animal.
