Trop tells the story of two sisters whose lives are turned upside down when the younger sister, Anaïs (Virginie Fortin), comes to join her older sister, Isabelle (Evelyne Brochu), in Montreal. What at first seems like a happy reunion turns out to be a little less fun when Isabelle discovers that her little sister is living with a bipolar disorder. Anaïs’ unpredictable nature makes the cohabitation, shall we say… hectic. Trop is a realistic dramatic comedy by Marie-Andrée Labbé that celebrates friendship, sisterly love and the flaws of human nature and reminds us that we are all, at one time or another, the neighbor’s fool.
