Back in Montreal after five years in Guatemala, Julie (Isabelle Blais), a young, frank and naive woman, is taken in by Jeanne, her older sister (Sylvie Moreau), a chronic liar with a loose morals.
Cynical and disillusioned with love, Jeanne is about to marry Noël (David Savard), a young network engineer with a somewhat predictable temperament.
Jeanne and Noël lead parallel lives while living in the same apartment due to conflicting work schedules. They hardly ever see each other, and communicate only through small messages placed under magnets on the fridge door.
