In each episode, the Game Catchers travel the universe discovering new and unexplored planets, make friends with the inhabitants and play a new game with them. Mr. Mustache, a friendly alien, is there to help them in their mission. He has dedicated his whole life to studying games in order to teach them to new generations.
Now in retirement, he acts like a mentor to the Game Catchers and passes on his knowledge and passion about games. He helps them find unexplored planets and the Game Catchers go on interstellar missions to “catch” new games. Mr. Moustache and the Game Catchers are there to make sure that the games are never forgotten and are stored in the Game-Machine, so that they keep being transmitted from generation to generation.
