Patrick Norman didn’t know it, but in 1994, in the midst of the genocide, his famous song Quand on est en amour left its mark on the hearts of Rwandans, serving as a balm for Tutsi victims during the worst moments of their lives. Thirty years later, Patrick Norman travelled to the land of a thousand hills to understand its painful past, and to discover an extraordinary country that has risen again. With empathy, he collected the testimonies of several Rwandans to make a real duty of memory.
